ServiceNow Fundamentals is the course designed for users with different organizational roles, engaged in using the Now Platform. Participants will learn how to use the platform’s user interface, acquire basic knowledge of the database scheme, use the most common applications and will be introduced to advanced features and functionalities, such as scripting and application development.

Certification released: ServiceNow System Administrator

This course is designed for all users interested in learning about the fundamental features of the platform, whether they are ServiceNow experts or beginners. At the end of the course, ServiceNow advises participants to gain two or three months of experience on the platform before taking the certification exam.

 

Specifically, the topics addressed will be the following:

 

  • navigation between applications, user interfaces such as lists and forms
  • customization of the user interface
  • users, groups and roles
  • task management through assignment rules, coexistence and work notes
  • notifications and chat
  • simple reporting as well as metrics and dashboard benefits
  • data protection of the ServiceNow instance through the Access Control Rule
  • database population using import sets
  • structure of the Configuration Management DataBase (CMDB) and the associated Configuration Items.
